Nice and Rugged

Girlfriend thought MK long pants looked nice in a moutain store so bought a pair. After much wearing, love them. In fact bought three more pairs of long pants because they are so comfortable, useful and good looking. I regularly get comments from people who have never seen MK pants before. I needed a pair of shorts and thought get a pair of MK shorts and did, and liked them so much I got a second pair of shorts, dark green and dark blue. The shorts are made from a more coarse material, more rugged than the long pants. The long pants are softer and more refined although I think you can get them from this same rugged cloth. All in all very nice pants whether short or long. I own six pairs total.

Prism Triad Box Kite

This magical little single-line box kite flies stable like a established kite, or tug on the string and watch it tumble and dance like an easy-to-fly fighter. Fly it till you determine not to and then watch it tumble down magically, end over end, swooping and diving till you straight-line it back into the wild blue with a tug. Designed for the whole family from toddlers up, this triangular single-line box kite in Prism’s “Ice” color pattern flies stable like a established kite or, with a tug on the string, tumbles and dances like a sport kite. It has a 16-inch wing span and folds to 18 inches long so it may be packed in a suitcase or backpack inside a zippered travel case that comes with the kite. Made of ripstop polyester with a fiberglass frame, the kite flies in winds of 4-25 mph. Its ready-to-fly package comprises a 100-foot Dacron line and a winder.

About Prism
An avid windsurfer, pilot and competitory sailor, Mark Reed, now president of Prism Designs, came across two-line sport kiting in the late 1990s, when he was in college and sport kites were, at best, primitive. Great box kite

I bought this kite a while ago and it is a great little flyer. Easy to put togather and flyes with a breeze. My 3 year old loves to fly it. It’s a great little kite to just mellow out with. It’s compact storage allows it to go anywhere. I recommend this simple, but elegant little kite. A lot of fun.

Simple but Highly Effective Kite

This is a great starter kite. It takes only a few minutes to put together once the pieces are out of the carry case and is easy to launch – just throw it into the air and away you go … my kids aged 7 and 3 had great time with this one on a recent visit to the beach and although they needed help with launching they were able to fly it with very little trouble after the first few goes. Seems pretty robust so far despite a few heavy landings and being taken apart and put together again a few times.

Not very stable

I bought this kite for my kids 7 and 9. It is easy to transport and assemble for the kids. It is well made and I have been happy with other Prism products, but this one does not fly very stable. The packaging recommends installing the spars so the kite is symmetrical, but no matter how much I try, it spins and tumbles when the slightest wind picks up.

Great product.

You wet the inside of the grip and the paddle shaft with water and have to work them into position. Worth the effort because they stay nicely in place. They provide a positive grip wet or dry, allowing you relax your fingers with confidence and thus reduce fatigue.

What a relief!

I’m relatively new to kayaking and I was getting blisters which made paddling very painful. I was starting to develop calluses and thought I would have to resort to wearing gloves. I’m glad I found these Yakgrips instead. They were a terrific solution. They provided just the right amount of cushioning. I have small hands and they didn’t increase the size of the grip too much for me.

They were, however, very difficult to get onto the paddles, but once in place they stayed where I put them.

Nice Product, great service

Got my first kayak this summer and enjoy the kayak but was getting blisters on my hand. The yakgrips have solved this problem very nicely. Comfortable, reasonably easy to install (but you really do need to follow the directions and wet/soak grips to get them to slide on), and easy to hold (I see other reviewers felt they were too thick but they fit my hands very nicely). My only complaint– after six weeks one of the two grips started to separate at the seam and couldn’t really be used any longer. I expected them to be more durable than that. I will say though that I contacted the company (Cascade) and they very nice and immediately sent me a replacement grip with expedited shipping at no charge at all. Very pleased with this simple product which does exactly what I wanted it to do, and can’t beat the service when I had a problem.
